Ten months

Today she’s ten months old, which means she’s now been out longer than she was in. If I had to compare, and I think I do, I’d say: Pregnancy was something to feel. It was all sort of mysterious and exciting though it seemed to take forever. Plus there was the crushing fatigue.

Having a baby has been something to watch. A lot of time has been spent just looking at this little person, sleeping, eating, laughing, reaching. Or maybe it’s been something to do. Much more time has actually been spent preparing food, diapering, reading books, snuggling, feeding, feeding, feeding. Oh, there’s also crushing fatigue.
